Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of The Encounter Church! We are honored to walk with you as you pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus and step into your Kingdom purpose. At The Encounter, membership is more than affiliation – it’s about transformation, discipleship, and being released into your calling.
Our mission is to create individual and corporate moments for all people to encounter Jesus. Our process is designed to help you Encounter, be Discipled, and ultimately Release others to do the same.
Membership Essentials
Membership is for individuals who:
- Have experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
- Are committed to spiritual growth through discipleship and community.
- Are ready to serve and lead in the local church and the world.
Membership Process
- Complete this application form and submit it in person or via email to: ifno@theencounterseattle.com
- Attend a Membership Orientation or Fresh Start Class
- Join a the Dream Team

Who qualifies for membership?
Anyone who professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, agrees with the foundational beliefs and vision of The Encounter Church, and seeks to live a life consistent with Biblical teaching.
What are the responsibilities of membership?
As a member, you are committing to:
Cultivating intimacy with God through worship, prayer, and the Word.
Walking in unity, love, and accountability with other believers.
Serving with your time, gifts, and resources.
Pursuing personal transformation and discipling others.
Advancing the mission of the church through evangelism, outreach, and leadership.
Do I need to be baptized?
Yes, we believe baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus. If you haven’t been baptized, we’d love to walk you through that step.
Is membership required to serve?
While many serving opportunities are open to non-members, leadership roles and certain ministries require
membership and completion of our discipleship path.
